Since we lost the original list in the EZ-Board Tsunami, why doesn't everyone who wants to do one claim a series or two from the upcoming schedule:

@ Oakland - Tues Jun 14, Wed Jun 15, Thurs Jun 16 {Seawolf 17}

@ Seattle - Fri Jun 17, Sat Jun 18, Sun Jun 19 {Met Irish}

@ Philly - Tues Jun 21, Wed Jun 22, Thurs Jun 23 {MFS '62}

@ MFY - Fri Jun 24, Sat Jun 25, Sun Jun 26 {Frayed Knot}

Philly - Tues Jun 28, Wed Jun 29, Thrus Jun 30 {MFS '62}

Florida - Fri July 1, Sat July 2, Sun July 3 {Rockin' Doc}

@ Washington - Mon July 4, Tues July 5, Wed July 6, Thurs July 7 {Nymr 83}

@ Pittsburgh - Fri July 8, Sat July 9, Sun July 10 {Cooby}

that'll get us to the A-S break.
Fill up this list and we'll break out the 2nd half of the season - first come, first serve.

I'll take Oakland.

Take both Phillys MFS.
They're less than a week apart so the 2nd one will only need the new pitching sked plus a brief update if anything new happens.

Nope. By then I will have had my fill of the Phills. I've done them before. I think its the curse of Ray Culp and LArry Jackson,
Sorry.

KTE assignments...

I was down for the MFY series in the Bronx. I am still willing to do it, though I will likely turn in my assignment a few days early since I will be in Dallas (actually Grapevine, TX) for a conference from 6/22 - 6/26..

Jun 13 2005 09:02 AM

metirish, I was supposed to do seattle, but I have started yet, so you go ahead and take it.

I will do one later, but I don't want the yanks or the fish. I think those should be given to the expert KTEers, not bumbling rookies like myself.

Stupid rookies.

Edgy DC
Aug 08 2005 10:28 PM

Listen. The Mets swept the Cubs for one reason and one reason alone: we had a quality KTE from Lundy --- a four-bagger into the parking lot --- and we were all prepared. We were game ready from the get-go to the last pitch by Aaron Heilman.

Now we have nobody scheduled to follow up with the Padres, and we so desperately need knowledge of our monastic enemies who have been trading of late. Who wants to jump in here?

If the Cards series isn't taken I'd take a stab at probably my third most hated team behind the Yanks and Dodgers.

BTW 9/11 two New York teams will be playing teams named "Cardinals" with the Giants playing at home against Arizona, which could be a highly emotional affair, on both sidelines

Hey Z-dude, if you want the Phils series at the end of August it's yours.

As mentioned, you can flip through some of the earlier examples here as a guideline - but it's not like there are any hard and fast rules about what's gotta be in it. It's just a way of letting the forum know more about the upcoming opponent they probably haven't seen for a while ... so most KTEs tell us about the scheduled pitching matchups, who's hot/who's not, recent callups/DLs, ex-Mets we might be seeing, your personal sexual experiences with any of the opposing players, new police blotter info, stuff like that.

If you're game, have it ready to go either the day the series starts or the day before since there's a off-day on Monday 29th.
