I remember the NYTimes (some time in the early '90s) ran a full page chart in their Sunday section detainling the [u:3e290fe6da]Six Degrees of Rogers Hornsby[/u:3e290fe6da].

When Julio Franco was born there were only 16 MLB teams, and the Giants and Dodgers were playing their first season in California.

Somewhere at home I think I still have the "who got traded for whom" lineage of all the players who were involved in the 17 player Yanks/ Orioles trade, where the Yanks got Bob Turley.
