Giant telecast

Friday night

had a digital clock display timing Trax pitches -- delivery (from time P recieves ball to windup) supposed to be within 20 seconds if no one on base-- Trachsel usually closked in at at 14 or so-- with men aboard, rose to 40 seconds +

Giants announcers (and again on FOX today) making a mountain out of a molehill here if you ask me-- the deliberate pace f's up fielders as much as hitters

Mike Krukow said his one-time teammate Joel Youngblood was so impatient that he'd swing at the rosin bag if a pitcher were as slow as Trachsel!

The 'Trax is a slow worker' stories have long been overblown IMO.
Yeah he's hardly the quickest guy out there - particularly w/runners on - but it seems he's been tabbed as the poster boy for this problem as if in a seperate category from anyone pitching today.
He ain't that bad.
