The Mets will host the Red Sox in exhibition games at CitiField on April 3 and 4. "That should be something", he said optimistically, "to have the last two World Champions play other and open a ball park."

It's another way for the Mets brass to throw two more games on the season ticket package. Greedy suits.

The Nationals had one exhibition game before opening their new park and gave away (as in free) the tickets to season ticket holders. The rest of the seats were either given to the construction workers or left vacant. I doubt that the Wilpons will be that altruistic.

I like that what the Nats did , I think Fred would do that although the article mentioned the Sox get $500,000 for the games, typically anyway.
