When I use the interactive statistics for best yearly finish for OBP it doesn't list the year.

Is there a "This Date In Mets History" type of thing? All day long I have been trying to figure out why Sept 4 rings a bell and I bet it is one of my old favorite player's birthday. Any thing like that?
