Important games: Philadelphia at Atlanta Phillies get 4 in the top of the first. Milwaukee at Cubs 8:05 EDT start. ESPN national broadcast. Houston at Florida Marlins up 4-0 in the first. Also: Boston at Tampa Red Sox get 2 in the top of the first; Tampa gets 3 in the bottom.

The Prince of Fat clears the bases with a 2B. Milwaukee has 3 on the board with no outs in the top of the 1st.

Ben Sheets leaves the game against the Cubs after 2 innings with forearm tightness and a 3 run lead. Could sink a drowning Brewer squad.

They ought to have in-game announcement when Sheets doesn't leave the game with some sort of injury. 6-1 Brewers in the 7th and they're threatening for more ... oops no, Flyout-DP. Looks like we're going to end this night right where we started it - although with an extra game's space ahead of Houston.

AND a day closer to the end of the season. Helps against the Brewers, hurts against the Phillies. Let's hope the Cubs have a big comeback in them.

Phreakin' Phillies defeat the Braves by a score of 7-1. I guess the Braves offense isn't quite so good when they don't get to face our bullpen. The Brewers lead the Cubs 6-1 and are still batting in the 7th at Wrigley.
