<----- I heart this image. It's like we had a Pima Indian in right field. Or Kent McCord.

It's such a clean picture , he looks like a baseball God.

Exactly, he looks like a baseball god.

I'm certain he can turn around a 130-MPH fastball.

Over the years I've received several e-mails that lead me to believe that Ron Swoboda has left a long trail of illegitimate children. My estimate is that about 5 per cent of Americans under the age of 40 have some Ron Swoboda DNA.

Ron Swoboda could clearly impregnate women by swinging a bat in the on-deck circle.

Are you saying he corked his bat with semen?

Some guys try to pick up girls... and get called Yoda
This never happened to... Ron Swoboda
He batted .242, but girls could not resist his stare
Ron Swoboda was never called a Yoda

All the girls would blush the color of a cherry soda
When he would drive down the street in his new Toyota
He batted .242, but girls could not resist his stare
Ron Swoboda was never called a Yoda
(Not like you)

He had the features of a Coeur D'Alene, a Sioux, or Lakota
And he wasn't just some hired gun like... Guillermo Mota
He batted .242, but girls could not resist his stare
Consquently, Ron Swoboda was never called a Yoda

When God makes guys like Kent McCord, he works under a quota
Randolph Mantooth won't appear on some old street in Sarasota
He batted .242, but girls could not resist his stare
And that's why Ron Swoboda was never called a Yoda

I thought Kent McCord was that guy from the Simpsons?

I guess I was... wrong.

I used a blacklight and found the Swoboda DNA. Last time I stay in that hotel.

What a great show. Like with "Emergency," not a lot of emoting going on.

I haven't posted here for a long time, because much as I love the Mets, you guys know a lot more about them and have much more interesting things to say about them than I do. And because I'm still recovering from the collapse last year and haven't felt much like talking. I'm posting now just to say that I have to love a place where you can find a whole thread devoted to Ron Swoboda and his semen, including a Jonathan Richman parody devoted to the subject. Keep up the good work, guys.

Are you me or something? Other than the fact that I post somewhat regularly (nothing can stop ME from wanting to talk, just ask my gf), that's pretty much how I feel.

I just hope that Ron Swoboda doesn't google his own semen. I'd be a bit, I don't know, flustered, if he ever found this thread.

I wonder how many people typically google their own name alongside the word "semen."

I assure you there are a few more now then there were a couple of minutes ago. I KNOW of at least one.
