I can't say I care either way but I would think the people that run the Tour will be happy, although they might not admit it.

He found he doesn't get the same thrill from cheating on his wife and cheating on his taxes.

I think its more about this whole 'cancer awareness' thing that a bunch of celebrities decided to bring to our attention.

I think its great that he'll race again. If he was doping, he won't be able to now because the scrutiny will be ten-fold on him.

It'll bring renewed attention to a great sport that's exciting to watch and great to do.

If he wins the Tour - and I doubt he could after taking 3 years off - I think he would be the oldest rider ever to win one.

Great story - I like it.

You know, I'd like to believe that ten-fold thing, but it's hard.

I continue to suspect that

1) The dopers tend to be ahead of the testers.
2) The rich dopers are ahead of the poor dopers.
3) The dopers get past their conscience by convincing themselves everybody else is doing it, so they're just getting even.
4) The risk of suspension (even an extended one) is worth it, because it beats falling out of the sport altogether.

I hear you but how stupid would it be for him?

If he's done it, then he's gotten away with it to this point. He's a legend in the sport. If he dopes up now and gets caught, he's Pete Rose.

Are athletes stupid? Yes, so there's that.

Article in today's Snooze about how the doctor whose theory that overcoming cancer, not PEDs, made Lance a superman and helped that superman sue the pants off anyone who even who ever wondered aloud if Armstrong was dirty, is now being attacked for his cockamamie theories and admits his data might not have been all that great after all.

When we saw George Carlin last year at pace he walked on stage and his opening line was.......

"Fuck Lance Armstrong and fuck his cancer"....maybe you had to be there but it was funny.
