music outside my window...

My office windows face Times Square, and I'm constantly subjected to the noise of events held in the middle of the street. Sometimes, there are bucket drummers, some times there are protesters, some times there are corporate-sponsored promotions.

Right now, I'm listening to the U.S. Army's "rock band" playing COME ON, EILEEN in front of the recruitment station.

What music have you recently had to experience in a public space, or in the work place, that you had no choice but to endure?

I spent an entire vacation during which any time I was in my car I had to endure the Camp Rock soundtrack or the latest Jonas Brothers CD. Does that count?

I live next door to the park that's the staging area for many a protest... frequently doinated by a Code Pink contingent.

Some awfully music gets permitted there some Saturday evenings. Drives everybody out of the park.

Guy's cellphone in the elevator this morning rang to AC/DC's 'Money Talks'

Come on, come on, listen to the moneytalk
Come on, come on, marry me for the money
Come on, come on, listen to the moneytalk

Cannot get it out of my head.

No wonder recruitment is down.

:) Aweseome. I think he's a kick-boxer. Sport of the future.

This move never worked for me. Maybe I should have played something more romantic than "Rock and Roll All Nite" Live version, of course.

A million times better than the Cusack scene. A billion!

She's a frosh, but living in a sorority house.

And her shirt seems to have different greek letters than the house.

I think she's wearing Rod's frat letters.

I don't recall her class coming into it.

Good point about Rod's shirt.

I thought she was a frosh becasue I think we first meet her when Rod is tooling her around in his dickmobile saying something like, "Well, you have to pledge a sorority. The coolest chicks are in Delta Burke. I can put in a good word for you if you like."

"I'm a Believer," at Shea Stadium, about 30 times this year and counting.
