That's Three Letter Acronym, for short... who do you like best?

(Good rainout fodder...)

CCR, and it's not even close.

I'm with fairy on this one with BTO a close second.

Fortunate Son
Who'll Stop the Rain
Green River
Bad Moon Rising
Traveling Band
Born on the Bayou
Proud Mary
Run Through the Jungle
Lodi
Up Around the Bend

CCR would destroy any of the rest of these bands in a ladder challenge.

Sweet Talkin' Woman
Rockaria
Livin' Thing
Evil Woman
Telephone Line
Don't Bring Me Down
Showdown
Ma-Ma-Ma- Belle
Mr. Blue Sky
Turn to Stone

To each his own of course, but these guys were no slouches.

Hard to consider CSN rock without the Y. No offense meant, Stephen.

Creedence.

If BOC=Blue Oyster Cult I took them. Not best, I vote for favorites not best.

Funny mixture. I like hearing an ELO song on the radio from time to time,
saw them back in another life with a tomato and three quarters. There are
times when I'll turn CCR off if I'm not up for that voice and other times I'll
turn it up. Gotta be in the mood for CSN too. I'd never turn off Soft White
Underbelly.

I know you all think I'm weird, and you're right.

I would vote but it's early and for the life of me I can't figure out all the acronym's. A little help please.

I am an ELO guy. More so after recently listening to the very underrated "Secret Messages" album (1983).

Also-ran Division

UFO
APB
OMD
STP
NPG
TLC

Divison of bands who sort of qualify but aren't with the spirit because the TL abbreviation always identified them far beyond anything it stood for:

REM

Division of bands who the TL abbreviation didn't stand for anything, but was a homonym for a word:

XTC

No real standout here. All had very uneven careers, or settled into the same old same old and fell apart. I'm not enthused about any of the choices.

Since this is a Mets forum, I'll go with BTO for "Takin' Care of Business."

I would rank them

ccr
elp
elo

Cooby's ranking is exactly my ranking!

Lunchpail Junior digs both "Down Bruce" (aka "Don't Let Me Down") and "Strange Magic."
