Quiet, shy kid from an ultra-religious family partners up with the school troublemaker to try and win a TV show amateur movie contest.

Hilarity ensues.

I can convince Mrs. Bucket to watch this by reminding her it's a foreign film.

Mean to see this, really -- as soon as we get thru Mad Men season 1

There's a good story of friendship and loyalty under the cute and funny stuff, and there's a couple of awesome, artsy dream sequences, too.

I bet the ladies love "Son of Rambow".

I kind of liked what went unsaid about the whole 80s setting: This was/is a flick about how adults who make films, like this one maybe, get started.

I'm not sure it was a great movie or anything but it was sweet.

I was really looking forward to this but found myself very bored forty minutes in , disappointing.

Cool, man. Let me know where I can mail you the other half of this thing.

Oh, and "Waterword" kicks ass. "Howard the Duck", too.
