Very cool pics Soup , especially the one with Gil Degout , have you known him for a long time?

Nothing says Long Island like those girls...the one on the left is hot.

Thanks.

I think we've known Gil for more than 10 years now.

He's about 60 years old and has 5 kids.

He is the hardest working guy in the biz. He works at Shea during Met homestands and at Yankee Stadium during Yankee homestands. When there's a conflict he works Shea. In the offseason he drives a cab.

I go to a lot of games with a friend of mine, Dave. There was a January a few years back and Dave was crossing the street on the upper west side. A taxi screeches to a halt just as it was about to hit him. Dave jumped out of his shoes and started screaming at the driver. Then he saw that the driver was laughing and it was Gil.

I like the one in the middle.

See, those are great details that will now I assume be lost to the new place.

Nice of you to say but they can't even compare to your incredible shots.

Although I can see somebody maybe wanting a poster of the cheerleaders...

Looking at the pic again, I'm actually drooling the most at the Nikkor 70-200 VR lens that the photographer behind the one in the middle is carrying

Which girl?

The blue 44-year-old one. A little worse for wear, but I still love her.

My two cents: In order of preference, left, right, center. (Tough call between left and right, by the way.)

I'd shoot for the five hole on all 3 of them......

Benjamin Grimm
Sep 29 2008 09:19 AM

I have no idea what that means.

metsguyinmichigan
Sep 29 2008 09:26 AM

I'm assuming he's making a hockey reference. The 5-hole is a shot between the goalie's legs, which means.....he shoots! he scores!

Or in this case, he shoots...and her goon hockey boyfriend comes over and implies this was an unacceptable act and proceeds to practice fighting.

Benjamin Grimm
Sep 29 2008 09:30 AM

Okay, thanks. I know nothing about hockey. My best guess was that "five hole" had something to do with billiards!

Isn't everyone? That's what I was taking the picture of. What did you guys think....

Oh my! You dirty birds.

I like a girl who busts out of her top, on both the top and bottom of the garment.

It's like homering in both ends of a doubleheader.

Sep 29 2008 10:29 AM

Really? Ribcage cleavage isn't my thing.

It looks sort of bizarrre, to be honest

soupcan
Sep 29 2008 10:30 AM

Yeah, that's not breast meat poking out the bottom of her top.

Edgy's correct - it is her ribcage.

In shooting practice where a goalie isn't available they'll put a 4x6 sheet of plywood covering the entire goalmouth except for 5 holes cut in it for shooters to aim at. 1 hole is in each corner plus "the 5 hole" low and in the middle, aka between the goalie's legs.

Howie Rose, who pulls double duty as the Islander TV voice, will use that phrase occasionally when a ball is hit through a pitcher or infielder's legs.

If that's ribcage, that means she's sucking in. A lot. I'd give righty a slight edge over lefty. Ribcage is a distant third.

No way.

If you look at her entire torso they are large globe like objects. Makes me want to eat honeydew melons in fact.

Normally, a bare midriff isn't cut off that tightly and the bottom of the honeydo won't pop out that way. But I have to believe that we're looking at bizarro-cleavage.

Easiest way to tell would be to flip her on her head and see if she has horizontal symmetry. Among other things.

Go Isles!

Not to be confused with Tony Gwynn (Sr.)'s 5.5 hole, or grounding single after single between the shortstop and third basemen (5 and 6 on your scorecard).

Jeez, now I bet Tony Gwynn has that bizarro-cleavage too.

Go breasts! I mean, hockey!

Have you seen a woman before? Breasts don't drop off right into the abs. There tend to be a set of ribs below them.

Consider the specimens on her left and right for comparison, you maniac. You're lusting over ribs, painfully constrained into the appearance of cleavage.

Call it a bad angle or weird shadows but my friend, her globes were not that golden.

As a rule I don't lust over ribs that aren't slathered in barbeque sauce or Memphis spices.

Having said that, I admire all of these girls and their aura of attainability, the truest mark of a Long Island gal.
