My husband made me a ham sandwich

Sunday night we had a big honking ham. Ordinarily I do not like ham but this one smelled so good all day long (hubby made the ham too) and by supper time I was drooling.

After the kids and we feasted on it, we planned the yummy ham sandwiches we'd take for lunch all week long.

Wednesday, still no ham sandwiches for lunch. Last night Mr cooby says
Honey I'll help you out and make our ham sandwiches for tomorrow.

So he did! And he also packed some chips and put them RIGHT ON TOP of my lunch box because he knows how I am and said "all you'll need is a cookie and some fruit tomorrow and you're all set!"

Got up this morning thinking of my good lunch to come today, instead of cup a ramans or something and packed my stuff and shut down my laptop and poured my coffee and kissed the cats and grabbed my phone and left the kids a note and kissed the cats again and walked out the door smiling. Early even!

Thought about my lunch and how good it was going to be.

About half way to work I suddenly realized I did not remember taking the ham sandwich out of the fridge.

Had my chips though. :(

Well, look at it this way. You're going to have all of those lovely feelings again for a second morning in a row. And tomorrow you'll have that yummy lunch :)

I don't want to rain on the sweet under-sentiments here of your husband
making lunch but I have two yucks I just can't keep to myself ....

Kissing cats = yuck
Refrigerated two day bread = yuck

Now before I get three PM's calling me a meanie ... I'm allergic to cats ...
and refrigerated sandwiches reminds me of soggy day camp bag lunches.

My mother made me a homosexual.

Under it:

If I gave her the wool, would she make me one too?

What is that , sounds good but can't say I have ever heard of it.

Missus made me Shepherd's Pie last night for dinner and I have more for lunch today , without question one of my favorite meals.

I do 98% of the cooking in my house, so it was a nice break the other day when the wife made us meatloaf and mashed potatoes with gravy. Good eatin.

Big chunk of iceberg lettuce, like, an eighth or quarter cut like a watermelon wedge. Then, regular salad shit like carrots and celery and cukes, and also, some chunks of really fiery bleu cheez we got at Fairway. aaaahahahh.

I generally suck at making salads so I handly ever do it, but I do enjoy a big one from time to time.

Got some cheapo blue cheez dressing to dump on it too. Might be some other stuff like tomatoes in there too, I still have to eat it to be sure.

Love blue cheese dressing , usually I need to restrain myself from dumping too much on the salad.

f-ing good cheese there. The Red Hook store is spectacular; they are also building new ones in Paramus and Stamford

Agreed.

We used to go to the one on W. 74th. I could never understand why anyone would walk further north to Zabar's when the Fairway had such excellent food.
