cartoonish, hyperkinetic and convoluted oedipal sf/comedy vs mediocre romance novel comedy

yuck on both their houses.

Both diminished by inferior sequels.

Crockodile Dundee has to be the only film where the prying investagive journalist worked for Newsday.

I think Fletch Lives was shot at Newsday's editorial offices but he was still understood to work for an LA paper.

Dundee's knife couldn't get me to vote for Dundee

That "Knife" line was the only good line in the whole movie and the commercials for the film gave that one away before you ever went to the theatre.

BttF was good enough to overcome its built-in goofiness.

Easy win for Future but I don't get how it is #1.

Because Crispin Glover is a superstar of quirk and this is his tour de force. In a just world, he'd be in middle age the type of go-to guy for oddballs that Christopher Lloyd was, but being as insane offscreen as on doesn't get you work.

Give Linda Kozlowski credit for popularizing the thong and showing everyone her big hiney. Kudos to you and your jungle booty!

Having said that, BTTF baby. Another slam dunk.

I like it that the guy pulling the knife is dressed like Jermaine Jackson. Did thugs ever dress like that?

Just what I was going to say! (Thought I think it's spelled Leah) I think it's a good movie. The only bad part is that it is SO obvious that Michael J. Fox is not singing "Johnny B Goode"
