48 HRS. did nothing for me.

The Princess Bride did. Robin Wright, pre-Penn. Andre the Giant. Mandy Patinkin. Chris Guest. Wallace Shawn Etc. etc. etc. So many enjoyable performances.

A no-brainer. It's inconceivable that 48 Hrs. could win this thing.

I don't think that word means what you think it does...

A great movie! Even the bit parts were outstanding.

I know Princess Bride reached Cult status, but it never did much for me.

"Tell me a story Jack."

"Fuck you."

"Ooh, that's my favorite."

Sweet vs. Violent, Fantasy vs. Realism, but these were both very good at what they do.

The Princess Bride gets my vote , I liked both well enough.

I can watch Mandy Patinkin in just about anything. Loved him in Chicago Hope and was rooting for that show big time over ER back in the day.

The Princess Bride is a family favorite - it's my pick in this round.

I think he's still doing the Tempest on Broadway. Not sure if that production is still running.

My daughter saw The Tempest recently, and she loved it.

This is the first tough choice, in that I liked 48 Hours a lot, but I won't go up against a Sicilian when death is on the line.

My younger son read [u:gg29zdhv]The Princess Bride[/u:gg29zdhv] last year in school and loved it. After he finished, we watched the movie and it was still wonderful.

Wow, that's harsh.

Right. I believe Barbara Streisand is actually a male member of my species. Sure. Let's go with that.
