48 HRS. did nothing for me. The Princess Bride did. Robin Wright, pre-Penn. Andre the Giant. Mandy Patinkin. Chris Guest. Wallace Shawn Etc. etc. etc. So many enjoyable performances.

A no-brainer. It's inconceivable that 48 Hrs. could win this thing.

Sweet vs. Violent, Fantasy vs. Realism, but these were both very good at what they do.

The Princess Bride gets my vote , I liked both well enough. I can watch Mandy Patinkin in just about anything. Loved him in Chicago Hope and was rooting for that show big time over ER back in the day.
