Some Help Please

My daughter surprised me with tickets to the next Jets game. I haven't been to the Stadium since the construction started. I hear parking is terrible. I'll be coming south down the turnpike from Connecticut.

Where can I find parking?
How do I get to it?(directions if necessary)
What time do I have to get there to get a spot?
If that is filled, where else can we go?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I-95 south, over the GW Bridge. Continue on I-95 - becomes the New Jersey Turnpike. Take the Western Spur when the turnpike splits. Exit 16W for the Sports Complex.

Will defer to the Jets fans here on advice re: parking.

]PARKING
All parking at Giants Stadium will require a prepaid parking pass for all Jets and Giants games (including preseason). This pre-paid parking policy is necessary due to the construction projects that are taking place on the Complex. Any ticket holder without a prepaid parking pass will be required to park at an off-site location. NO TAILGATING will be permitted at the off-site parking location where a shuttle service will be provided or in Parking Deck 23 (Arena side of Complex).

The cost for a 2008 season parking permit will be $200, which includes parking permits for two preseason and eight regular season games, $20 per game. For more information on purchasing a prepaid parking permit, please call the Jets at (516) 560-8200 or the Giants at (201) 935-8222.

Onsite parking locations will open 5 hours prior to kickoff.

Onsite parking fees for Jets or Giants games are as follows:
$20 (prepaid permit) for parking at the Sports Complex
$75 Limos/RV’s ($20 credit will be applied if in possession of a parking permit)
$100 for buses ($20 credit will be applied if in possession of a parking permit)

Offsite parking locations will open 5 hours prior to kickoff.
Offsite parking fees for Jets or Giants games are as follows:
$20 for Giants
$25 for Jets

Please keep in mind that there is NO TAILGATING at the offsite parking location.

We strongly encourage guests to carpool or take mass transportation if possible due to the various construction projects on the Complex and the impact on available parking.

If you don't live near 95, I thought you didn't for some reason, I'd take the
Saw Mill to 287 across the Tappan Zee to Garden State south to 17 (left
exit) to 3 East.

95 and the GW is always a crap shoot and 17 has very little traffic on Sundays
because there's no stores open.

Thank you all.
I guess its too late to get a parking pass.
Looks like we'll be in a no tailgating zone.

I like how the offsite parking is jacked up another $5 for Jets games. Jersey = Giants and they let you know it.

if you really want one (which you only need if you plan on tailgating) i'm sure they are available on stubhub or ebay or something like that
