And from Marvel and DC, it looks like 2009 will be bringing us X-Men Origins: Wolverine and Watchmen.

Same with my son, lol. Whenever there's a new preview that's all he can talk about for days. I've always been a comic fan but Watchman somehow got under my radar back in '86. I must have been all up in the Dark Knight Returns. I wanted to see what it was all about so I recently got the .cbr files (for viewing comics on a PC) of the entire graphic novel series. (btw, they are just coming out with "Motion Comic" versions of these-i think 1-4 have been released. Can find em on itunes I think) I was pretty much blown away by it. The complexity of the characters, the alternate view of history (Nixon WAS the one TWICE!), and the fantastic plot created by Alan Moore was a totally singular experience. So I have to admit I'm pretty pumped for the movie myself.
