Since 1990, David Wright probably has the highest career lifetime major league BA of any player who was originally drafted/signed by the Mets. Minumum 700 career ML at bats. Who has the second highest? I think I know the answer and it is astounding. Later

I don't get the "since 1990" wrinkle. I just checked a list and a quick look down it says Jeffries - beat Magadan by an ear hair?

We are dealing with probabilities on this one. I like the Rey answer because it would seem so improbable it must be right.
