New O's Unis

The big change is adding a road jersey that sez Baltimore.

Home jerseys have a new sleeve patch, the bird logo is f'ed with (again) making it look fiercer and more streamlined but fortunately not NFL-level fierce. On the bad side, the black alternate is now an "anytime" jersey when previously it was Friday nites only.

The black uni is horrible , it looks like a bad practice jersey.

Always in favor of road greys with city name.

Like the patch, see no real difference in the bird, hate all black uniforms.

Oriole bird-head logo says: <a href="http://www.yard-work.org/?p=704">"Kiss My Goddamn Ornithologically Incorrect Ass!"</a>

I hate the patch. And I generally like black uniforms, but not these.

But it is the state flag of MD.

I like that they are connecting themselves to the region.

A few years ago, Angelos ordered their broadcasters (I read) to not refer to them as the Baltimore Orioles, just the Orioles. It was a Nats-related snit, I think. I guess he's figured out the Mid-Atlantic folks can read a map.

I am with Soup on this... It should be mandatory.

Me three. It would've been cool to have the Boog modeling the Orioles' new road grays.

State flag or not, it looks like a soccer logo, IMO.

the "o's" on the alternate uni hat is awful.

Maryland has the best state flag, imho.

Don't the Ravens have this at midfield of their stadium?

It really is.
I don't really like the real looking bird either.

I really loved the old cartoon bird.
I was never an Oriole fan but I did buy one of these hats around age 13.
And if I played infield during sandlot games I was Brooks.
If I played outfield, Met hat and I was Agee.

I'm partial to the real-looking bird, but then again, that's what I grew up seeing.

And the "O's" thing is an absolute travesty.

I love the cartoon bird. Bring it back, fellas. Cut the ornithological crap out.

I put it second to Tennessee.

And I love the cartoon bird, too.

they actually had the unveiling at the inner harbor galleria mall, and Boog was there. not sure which one he was modeling, but he was modeling. So was Jim Palmer, with very short pants.

all this according to a coworker who went over there to check it out.

That black cap with the orange "O's" is hideous.

Everything else looks okay, although I could do without the black jersey. That looks a bit amateurish.

What a bazaar world we live in where Boog Powell can get modeling work.
