So, if nobody else gets signed or released by the Rule V draft (some will, but we work from what we got), which nine players do you add to protect 'em from the draft.

(Players eligible to be drafted are players signed at 19 or older who have gone three years without being added to the 40, or players signed at 18 or younger who have completed four with being added to the 40. Fernando Martinez, with three years under his belt after signing at like 11, does not need to be added.)

jaysus.
that looks like a lot of looking things up to see when people signed.

The one that is definite if he needs to go on is Mike Carp.

Hopefully they'll find this years Jesus Flores rather then having him snatched away.

Carps a good start.

Yeah, it's woik, but we can do this... together.

Some thoughts, young and old:

Salvador Aguilar
Willie Collazo
Casey Hoorelbeke
Josh Petersen
Jose Sanchez
Caleb Stewart
Tobi Stoner
Nick Carr

Most of the gold in the system is either at the lower levels, hasn't put in their three seasons, or is already on the 40.

kinda guy who's on the bubble might be Jose Sanchez who repeated at binghamton with reasonable success.

Jose Coronado is the only hitter at Binghamton who isn't on that maybe should be.
