Agreed. "DST" should be the standard and we should spring ahead another hour in the spring.

Not a fan of standard time*, but I did enjoy an extra hour of sleep this morning.

I hate time changes. It's ridiculous to not base the time on the passage of the sun. Here's a better idea. Change standard business hours from 9-5 to the more logical 8-4 (four hours on each side of noon) with similar adjustments in operational hours for schools, stores, banks, bars, public transit, etc. It will have the same effect on "saving daylight" and no one has to change a clock.

Like clockwork Lorcan would wake up around six each morning or a little after , the alarm goes off at 6:20 so that was great , this morning he was wide awake at 5:10.......of course he was asleep about one hour earlier than usual....

Out here on the far western edge, we get daylight in the summer until 10 p.m. It's near 11 until they can do fireworks on the Fourth of July.

I just realized that I still hadn't reset my CPF clock. Posts here were looking like they were posted an hour later than they actually were.
