It got down to 28 degrees overnight. It's currently 42 degrees and windy here. I hate winter!

Drove to work in flurries this morning. Some towns not far from here got 2' of snow the other night. And so, it begins.

I hope it is. I'm praying for a warm winter. The city just hacked up the budget, cutting services to the most vulnerable --- and least politically organized --- most drastically, of course. The homeless are getting scrod and I'm the guy telling them that I don't know what to tell them.

Ah, just trying to guess from memory. When I was a kid I had all the towns of the Connecticut coast from Greenwich to New Haven memorized. Yes, I was a geek.
