Set to make an announcement on Monday - although now that everyone knows there's really no point so maybe he'll skip the hassle of a formal announcement.

355 wins. Only Warren Spahn has more among those who started a career after 1920

I'm guessing he'll show up but only stick around for half the press conference.

Yeah, but while there he'll "field" the questions impeccably

Maddux (2013) stands to be the first pitcher inducted into the HOF on the first ballot since Eckersley (2004).

Curious whether Glavine and Smoltz come back next season, or follow his lead.

I hope they retire now.
Then, Mussina won't even get a sniff from the voters, and the pro-Yankee writers will go nuts.

Imagine the three of them going into Cooperstown together.

Hard for me to admit ... but that would be kinda cool and appropriate.

God I hated those three when they were on.

I can see Glavine, I can't see all three at the same time though. Because there probably will be voters who just want to vote the two 300 game winners or some other BS.

Both Smoltz & Glavine intend to pitch next year.
