Our final Sweet 16 matchups: BttF has battered both Crocodile Dundee the Blues Brothers in a stroing defense of its No. 1 seed. Airplane! has overcome strong oppoisition in having sputtered past Midnight Run and Die Hard in a squeaker. Back to the Future is a great film. But Airplane! is one of my all time favorites - I have to go with that.

To me what earns BttF's vote was that in trying very hard to capture the 50s what it really did was nail the 80s, in every way. It's like the perfect weapon for this competition.
