Hallelujah set for chart trinity.

It might surprise you to know that Top 40 radio is still a big deal over in Britain and Ireland and being # 1 at Christmas time is huge. Simon Cowell's The X Factor is hugely popular and this years final show was last weekend. The winning singer Alexandra Burke sang Hallelujah which has become the fastest selling single ever in Europe. Jeff Buckley's version is also shooting up the charts and this Christmas Hallelujah is set to be number one and number two in the charts. Cohen's version has charted as well. Buckley afficinados have started a Facebook campaign to get his version to number one , looking online and stuff they seem to think it's sacrilege to cover that song and they hate the Burke version. Leonard Cohen meanwhile should be happy as apparently he is broke, got screwed over by his accountant.
