Epic political history telling the story of Yugoslavia from the end of WWII through the Bonia war by way of allegorical fantasy hijinks.
Got great reviews and is chock full of stunning moments and shots, music and overall rip-roaringness but I wasn't prepared for its length (3 hours!) or that it was actually supposed to be an allegory, which had me more concerned with "following a plot" than I probably should have been.
So I'd suggest knowing this, and maybe a thing or two about Yugoslavia, before committing the 3 hours, but then, there's much to enjoy.
