Will be held this Sunday night. I heard Marty Noble interviewed today on WFAN. He said that the event is open to the public. The cost is $225 per person.
Some stuff he mentioned:
Jim Kaat (who won 18)with give a Golden Glove Award to Greg Maddux (who won 16)
Dave Winfield and Ed Kranepool will be given awards for having played the most games in the new Yankee Stadium and Shea Stadium, respectively.
All 2008 MVP, Cy Young and ROY winners will be present.

If you're interested, he said to call the NY Hilton and ask for ex-NY writer Phil Pepe.

Wait a minute, something's wrong. We can safely acknowledge that there has been an "old" Yankee Stadium and a "new" Yankee Stadium?

Well, if an experinced sportswriter like Noble can say it, I guess we can, too.

EDIT: Now that I think about it, he may have said it was Bernie williams who played the most games atthe refurbished Yankee Stadium.
