Yes, we're back with the Final 8. This contest pits the Cinderella Story against the mighty Empire in the contest that will decide the Final 4 reoresentative from the Samatha Baker Division.

Empire has walked over Weird Science, Robocop and Ferris Buehler

Trading Places trounced Footloose, then edged War Games and the Breakfast Club on its magical ride.

Who is your pick? (Voting ends Tuesday!)

I smell a 12-2 upset in the making.

Not happenin'.

While Harrison Ford was clearly the most successful acotr (box office-wise) of the eighties, Dan Ackroyd was second. There are worse things than being a big second banana.

I voted Empire. Best of the Star Wars flicks.

I don't know if I've voted for either one of these movies yet.

Gotta start sometime I guess.

I have to chew on this one for a spell. Both are great.

You people need to get your porn from more traditional sources.

Trading Places for me. I can watch that repeatedly, but you couldn't pay me to sit through Empire again.

If this contest featured On Golden Pond vs. Driving Miss Daisy I bet half the voters here would base their pick on who was hotter: Jessica Tandy or Katherine Hepburn.

In the last Trading Places match up I mentioned that I had recently saw it and didn't think it was all that funny all these years later, but I have just never liked any Star Wars movies.

while there are few who appreciate JLCurtis' assets more than the founding member of TiTTS, and TRADING PLACES is certainly a solid 80s comedy, it is a movie of no particular consequence.

However, as the best of the original SW trilogy, EMPIRE is not only a great movie, but one of the most iconic, influential films made in the last 30 years.

I don't see how this should even be close. But then again, the rest of my final 4 (BLADE RUNNER, ROAD WARRIOR and RAGING BULL) didn't even get close. Hell, BULL (consistently voted the best film of the 80s) didn't even make the damn cut!

Oh please, that is just foolish.

I would scare up pics of those old bags from the 50's and decide using the Fmeat time machine.

Are we sure that Fman isn't really 14 years old?

You are not the first, or 101st person to suggest that I have a juvenile mind. But I actually was born the year of "Ya Gotta Believe," and just act like I was born during "The Worst Team Money Can Buy."

But sometimes this place needs a little juvenile levity.

I went with pork bellies, which are used to make bacon, which you might
find in a bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwich.

BG: I bet half the voters here would base their pick on who was hotter: Jessica Tandy or Katherine Hepburn <<<

I think there are more than a few who'd prefer Morgan Freeman in the voting.
