The waekest unit on the field is the Pittsburgh offense.
Cards 20-17.
But I hope I'm wrong.

I predict it will be overhyped and boring.

Cardinals in a "shootout:" 38-31. (I predict the Pittsburgh D will score at least on TD, if not 2).

I predict I call care more about halftime, where Bruce will play "Born to Run" and three other songs.

As long as he doesn't play a god-forsaken medley. I still think U2 did the best Super Bowl halftime show because they a) didn't have whippersnapper R&B stars join them as "guest performers" and b) didn't do a medley.

I don't recall Prince's medley sucking.

That being said, my sources tell me to expect something similar to the Petty or McCartney performances, where you might get slightly shortened version of a song or two in order to fit it all into 12 minutes.

We're watching the Puppy Bowl with the Kitty Half-time Show on Animal Planet.

Sweet!

Steelers 24, Cards 14

Prince was the best show by far in years and years. Opened my eyes, I
didn't know he was actually talented.

I predict we won't see Bruce's nipples and Steelers will win in a close one.

I also predict that tomorrow will be the end of the world as we know it so
enjoy today to the fullest.

That's all I got.

I shold reverse my pick after this useless bit of information from the NBC talking head....Bob Nueimer is over at the Cardinals "undisclosed location" and informs us that over the last three years this hotel is 8 and 0 in teams it has hosted before games.....

Anticlimactic way to win a championship -- waiting for refs to review the video and make a call.

A nail-biter of a game, though.

SB commercials = Lotsa stuff for upcoming movies containing lotsa special effects and apparently no humans in them at all.

Other than that a coupla Clydesdales and the odd chuckle here and there.

And then they choose not to review the final Warner fumble to see whether it could have been another one of those 'arm coming forward' deals.

The Cardinals would have won if Warner hadn't committed the worst tackle ever on the INT return.

He was lucky they didn't carry him out in a body bag. Once he threw the INT, he became just another player trying to tackle the ball carrier. And teams are coached to take their best shot at the QB. I couldn't believe nobody leveled him. Maybe he didn't make the tackle because his head was on a swivel looking for the guy coming to maim him.

Interceptions are always fun like that cuz you've suddenly got offensive players turned into defensive players and none of them know how to tackle, while at the same time you've got some guy with a number in the 90s as a ball carrier while his defensive mates need to shift their focus from getting around blockers to becoming blockers.
That situation may have been a bit more smooth back in the day but, as the sport has specialized over the years, now it means that most of the 22 guys out there don't know what they're doing.
