I Live For . . . Persecuting Rehabilitated Steroid Users?

Ugh. This is ugly.

Latest steroid whipping boy Michael Morse gets punished for still having steroids in his system from the 2003-2004 offseason. He served two suspensions in the minor league for the same offense in 2004.

Once he was promoted the bigs, he became subject to MLB rules, and has been suspended for 10 games. The amount of steroids in his system is so miniscule that the panel sentencing him admitted that the roids had absolutely zero affect on his performance.

I applaud Mike Morse. He has been more forthright and up-front about how steroids got in his system than anyone else thus far. He has not used steroids in two years, and the scientific facts prove it. This is a terribly unfair punishment, and makes it look like the MLB is posturing itself to look tough on steroids so much that it suspends people for quitting steroids. Shame on Selig.
