Biopic tracing the life of Ian Curtis from lowly civil servant to singer of the Joy Division , from teenage husband to neglectful husband and father as Joy Division get going . Excellent performance form Sam Riley as Curtis and Samantha Morton as the long suffering loving wife .

I have to give them credit for calling it "Control" and not the far more marketable "Love Will Tear Us Apart."

Saw it a while back... Sam Morton pretty much IS this character, no? (Between this, "Morvern Callar," "In America," and every other movie she's ever made that isn't "Minority Report.")
