You can feel the movie tugging you, manipulating you... and yet, it works; Danny Boyle really gets his Spielberg on in this one.

The thing almost buzzes right on the screen. Dug it immensely, almost despite myself.

Good. Not great. Predictable. The last half hour did nothing for me. All the stuff of him as a kid was terrific.

Very good. Couldn't believe it was only two hours-- seemed much longer.

Just saw it. Pretty good stuff. The flashback scenes were fantastic the way they were tied into his interrogation. I can see why it won the Oscar.

Watched it yesterday and liked it a lot. (I gave it three stars.) I agree that it started stronger than it finished, and that the flashbacks were the most compelling parts.

Part of me, though, wishes it had been set in the U.S., so that we'd be able to see Regis Philbin in the back room torturing the contestants. You just know it happens that way!
