sanchez is doing horribly. Saalazar drives in adam jones in. if it wasn't for the o's baserunning mistakes, there would've been a lot more runs.

Rey Ordonez just lined a single to left. Replays confirm that the batted ball actually clears the infield before taking its first bounce. The Daily News will report that Ordonez is ready to challenge for the league's batting title

top of the 4th; church's 2-rbi bases-loaded single knocks out the Oriole pitcher. Mets lead 7-2

Church = 3rbi; Castillo = 4rbi

Manuel's strategies in kicking Church and coddling Castillo is working, so far.

Pagan AND Murphy AND Evans?
What positions did they play?

EDIT: Never mind - Murphy in left, Pagan in center and Evans at first.

GREAT GAME!!

All kinds of fun, I met Jerry and spoke to Omar for a while. Church looked great, Pagan had a wonderful day at the plate, and Valentin -- Valentin! -- made about three outstanding plays at third.
