In 2007 it was Jimmy Rollins. In 2008, Carlos Beltran. Now, in 2009, it's Francisco Rodriguez saying that his team is the "team to beat." ARRRRGGGGHHH! I hope this is the last go-round for this tired phrase!

As I said last year, I like it. It shows some swagger that the team has lacked in recent times. Course the team hasn't shown much swagger two Septembers in a row, but it is nice to see that the players, especially newbies, are into the rivalry. Not as much as the fans of course, but it is there.
