Let me see if I have this right: The Mets paid $2 Million for Alex Cora, and the Dodgers just signed Orlando Hudson for $3.8 million....

As a Type A free agent, Hudson also cost a 1st-round draft pick. Not that I'm arguing with your premise, mind you.
