The Mets likely have 13 slots set for hitters, as they typically do. Twelve are solid, but let's say 11 and assume Anderson still has to fight to stay alive.

Reed is supposed to be a great fielder so the team will need him as a late inning defensive replacement for either Murphy or Tatis. My money is on Reed to make the team.

I don't even think A. Reyes is in big league camp. The only reason he got any time last year was because Anderson was hurt and Omar hadn't loaded up sufficiently on reserves.

Reyes was non-tendered. According to his wikipedia page, he was later re-signed to a minor league contract, but I've seen no note of it elsewhere, nor any note that he was in camp.
