Name: Cranepool League password: nocollapsein09 league# 88637 Live Draft: The Last Sunday in March (the 29th) at 7:30 PM EST All rules have been copied exactly from last year's league, but are open for discussion. Please don't invite outsiders (unless they were in the league last year) until we've given Cranepoolers the chance to sign up.

I'm back in, if you don't mind. I haven't posted in forever, but I still do read the forums without signing in. Last summer was supposed to be my "I'm going to post for real because I won't lose a hard drive for a fourth consecutive year" summer, but I ended up working two jobs, one full time, and never having time for the internet. Active CPF poster; take five? Or four. Whatever.

welcme back and welcome back to the league! lets keep signups open for board members (and/or previous participants) until March 15th, at that point we'll open it up to friends, i just dont want a flood of outsiders to keep a spot from a board member who wants in! who are we missing from last year?

I honestly don't recall. Anyway, 10 is really the minimum for a mixed league. If we could shame two more Cranepool regulars though that'd be best case...

I'd consider 10 the minimum for an NL-only league, 12 is a must for mixed league and I'd really want to have 16, but we have the depth argument every year so theres no reason to have it again, whoever shows up we'll go with

we are REALLY shorthanded here. if it stays this way i may want to increase the starting positions to the "standard" 24 (c,c,1,2,3,ss,mi,ci,5xof,ut,9xp) let me know if anyone else is joining

Ten owners is weak. Not much we can do about that. I am going to be home but also helping with the kids and such. Hopefully I will be able to make some of my own picks. Yahoo's auto-drafter is an a-hole.

sorry, i felt it had to be done, ten teams is just laughably small, worse than a standard yahoo league. the free agent pool is thick enough as is without throwing 40 more players in there. maybe a 2nd utility guy would have made people happier than a 2nd catcher but this was last minute when we realized how empty we were. next year we'll cap the teams at 12 and go NL only.

Ten teams are silly -- there are closers and 40 steal guys still out there on the wire even!

Is it me or is 3 days for trades/waivers a bit long? It'll take 4 days after the claim/trade is accepted. I feel like 2 days is plenty of time.
