1 - Go to "wikipedia." Hit “random”
or click http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random
The first random wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.

2 - Go to "Random quotations"
or click http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3
The last four or five words of the VERY LAST quote of the page is the title of your first album.

3 - Go to flickr and click on “explore the last seven days”
or click http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days
Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.

4 - Use photoshop or similar to put it all together.

Make way for the best Led Zeppelin cover band in Costa Rica. Their version of the "Immigrant Song" will blow you away.

We actually did this last year.

This is my old band from the last time:

And this is my new one:

It seems that my label's art director has a thing for black & white photos.

soup: We actually did this last year <<<

I hope I didn't do any, 'cause I don't remember if I did.

Looks like I'll have to get more creative on the font front next go around.

I didn't use Photoshop. I used [url=http://www.picnik.com/app#/home/welcome:5qz85o2p]Picnik[/url:5qz85o2p], which is web-based freeware. I went into the Create tab to add the text to the picture after I uploaded it.

Since my first album went straight to the bargain bin and my band broke up, I joined a new group and gave it another try -

I like this one better than the other one. And the "title" was said by Hubert Humphrey.

The cover photo of Men of Maize quickly brought this <img src="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/7/74/Pink_Floyd-Animals-Frontal.jpg"> to mind.

Men of Maize sounds like a Christian rock band is ever there was one.

I see 8-10 literate British or Canadians writing twee pop, Fman. I also see a zither in the room, and would like to know where they get their weed.

My A&R guys are pushing me to sign these guys this year. I think they suck. I think it's a concept album about standardized stesting.
