that would be the text crawl at the bottom of the screen on MLBN Anywoo, said crawl has us picking up RHP Fernando Nieve off the Astros waiver wire. Came up in 2006, injured all of 2007, pitched briefly in 2008. Further crawlies claim that the Mets are one of four teams interested in FA Pedro Martinez. Others include Pittsburgh, Cleveland & Dodgers. Source = Jon Heyman Same source, however, says that we are NOT one of four clubs sniffing around one Ivan Rodriguez Nor does it connect us with LH-reliever Joe Beimel
