I love Empire...really the whole Star Wars saga is pretty crappy without it. But if both movies were on at the same time, I would be watching Tap. It gets my vote as well.

I voted for Empire. The middle piece of a trilogy is always the toughest, but I applaud George Lucas for not forcing his own clumsy and stilted direction on me for this piece.
