(a) Didn't seem to be at an impressive speed in pursuit of it, (b) didn't dive, though it ws dropping in and wasn't looking to get too far past him, and (c) kicked it to the wall.

I didn't see the game (was at a Mets game of a different sort, as in the Little League variety), but the wind has been whipping here all day.
