That just ruins the enjoyment of the whole season for me.

I'd be quite satisfied with that. I'd like it more if "Yankees" and "Phillies" were replaced with other teams, but even so, that's a nice outcome.

I find it surprising that <i>The Sporting News</i> still has a print edition. I'm actually surprised that it still exists in any form at all.

If I hadn't run into it in Penn Station last week, I wouldn't have known. And unlike in other springs when a Met graced a cover of a magazine, I didn't snap it up. It was $5.99 for a weekly publication. I try to support print where I can, but I long ago lost interest in TSN. Those few times I've bought it in this decade, I come away thinking, well, that wasn't worth it. Wasn't until I started looking at it that I was thinking...wait...I know who (most of) these writers are!
