Way to give away the entire ending. That just ruins the enjoyment of the whole season for me.

I'd be quite satisfied with that.

I'd like it more if "Yankees" and "Phillies" were replaced with other teams, but even so, that's a nice outcome.

If they're picking the Mets, maybe Wright makes the Baseball Issue cover.

I like the Twins in 6 over the MFYs.

Its an MFY cover. With David Wright in the upper right hand corner.

Better cover [url=http://faithandfear.blogharbor.com/blog/_archives/2009/3/31/4139635.html:3f08z6ie]here[/url:3f08z6ie].

I find it surprising that <i>The Sporting News</i> still has a print edition.

I'm actually surprised that it still exists in any form at all.

I think it speaks to its relevancy that I've seen no note of it anywhere in the Metsosphere, and I get around in those circles. If I hadn't run into it in Penn Station last week, I wouldn't have known. And unlike in other springs when a Met graced a cover of a magazine, I didn't snap it up. It was $5.99 for a weekly publication. I try to support print where I can, but I long ago lost interest in TSN. Those few times I've bought it in this decade, I come away thinking, well, that wasn't worth it.

The day they stopped printing box scores they ceased being a credible baseball paper. And they used to call themselves The Bible of Baseball.

Sigh

I saw that at the newstand in the building where I worked several weeks ago and picked it up just because it looked interesting.

Wasn't until I started looking at it that I was thinking...wait...I know who (most of) these writers are!

I'm guessing "Sporting News" has devolved into a time-tested brand pasted over a magazine that would otherwise be called "Fantasy Sports Player Hot Tip Sheet."
