As someone who was 5 years old when the Doctor began interning and took tentative, ill-advised toddler steps into the world of blackface, just so I could be more like him... I'm not sure I should be allowed on the premises. I'd probably go more than a little Suzy Waldman.

From the press release:
Dwight Gooden will be appearing from 3:30 to 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, at Modell’s Times Square location (West 42nd Street & 7th Avenue) to field questions and promote the Mo’s Zone & Modell’s Clubhouse at Citi Field.

Why is this not a thread about Arnold Horshack?

Is this a Mets thing or a Modells thing or a bit of both? I ask because maybe Doc will be seen around more now.

I'd say Barbarino and Washington were Mets fans, to the extent they were fans of baseball.

Epstein almost definitely would be a MFY fan.

Horsack I dunno.

I also can't figure out Kotter. I'd say Met fan but his Billy Crystalline qualities wanna make me say he he was a MFY fan.

Kotter strikes me as the type who would root for the team he and his father were fans of before they moved. I see him hanging on as a Giants fan, at least until Willie came to the Mets, when he finally gave in. His wife would have been a Cubs fan.

Well, if Gabe was old school, it'd've been the Dodgers for him.

"Julie, did I ever tell you the story about my uncle M. Donald Kotter? Cheapest, nastiest man anybody ever met..."
