I'm getting over a bad cold and a few straight weeks of traveling and stress. Doing a massive therapeutic spring cleaning.

Spent the weekend with my in-laws in Illinois, and they spoil me wildly. I think the kids were a little disappointed with their baskets, though. We were debating whether they were too old (16 and 12) and we didn't want a lot of candy around the house. So as a compromise I filled them with some healthy treats, books, some sports-themed eggs that had some candy and a Littlest Pet Shop figure. Much to my horror, their chocolate bunnies melted in their packaging in the car on the trip down. (Mental note, don't buy meltable candy until we get to Illinois next year) But the kids ate them just the same. My in-laws' church does a nice job with Easter. And it's where we were married, so I always think back to that day as we worship there.
