I'm blacked out again. Why would a guy in CA want to watch a DC team play in NY anyways?

3-0 Mets after Church drives in Wright.
|
Edgy DC Apr 25 2009 11:40 AM |
We're the Mets. We score three in the first and try to make that hold up. It's our act. Come catch it!

Mets are so out-gloving the Nats right now.

5-0 after yet another Washington error. This is terrible, for them.

Bases loaded with one out and nothing but two horrible at bats to show for it. Score should be 8 or 9 to 0.
|
DocTee Apr 25 2009 12:46 PM |
Mets have left em loaded in five of the last 11 innings?
|
TheOldMole Apr 25 2009 12:58 PM |
Will a Met hurler other Santana make it past the 5th inning?
|
TheOldMole Apr 25 2009 01:00 PM |

Why is the radio feed of a Mets game playing on a website in Amsterdam, NY that sells concrete products?
|
Benjamin Grimm Apr 25 2009 01:21 PM |
I just checked in, after having braced myself for the worst. Looks like a pretty nice outing from Pelfrey, dropping his ERA down into the sixes.

I never did notice that. Assumed Cranesville.com was just the radio station's site. My first guess was that the guy in charge of the concrete website is also a Mets fan who decided to host a jacked stream on his website. But nope. All the listen-live links on the radio station's official website seem to be hosted on the concrete one. Weird.

Church's hit that made it 8-2 instead of 6-2 is the one they haven't been getting the past week. So that's a plus.
|
Kong76 Apr 25 2009 01:46 PM |
Alright, I'll cop to not reading Edge's KTE 'til just now.
|
Kong76 Apr 25 2009 02:04 PM |
That almost got a little dicey.

Benjamin Grimm Apr 25 2009 02:04 PM |
Stokes can't seem to get that third out.

Benjamin Grimm Apr 25 2009 02:05 PM |
Never mind. He got 'em.
