It has been noted that your Caesars Club (and other Plato's Retreats) inside CF have the dividers your other sections' men's rooms do not. Well, we're not alone (as you know if you're using one of those waterless wonders).
Peter Abraham passes along the word that MFYS III selectively divides those who go at MFY games.
]How far does the class warfare extend in Yankee Stadium? All the way to the men’s room.
According to the charmingly titled Fack Youk blog, there are dividers between the urinals in the field level bathrooms but not in the bathrooms elsewhere in the stadium.
It’s astonishing that somebody had a meeting to decide this. But apparently they did. |
Elsewhere in we may have a strain of pretension in our upper demographic precincts, but we ain't seen nothin' compared to MFYS III, Paul Lukas visits MFY Steakouse here.
]Our steaks arrive -- a New York strip ($52.75) for Mike and a ribeye ($47.75) for me. Lisa, wearing the confident smile of someone who's studied for the test, places my plate in front of me and proudly says, "No. 15 -- Don Mattingly." I make a mental note never to bring Thurman Munson's widow to NYY Steak and turn my attention to my ribeye's Flinstones-sized bone, which could easily double as Hideki Matsui's bat. Impressive, although I'm disappointed that the bone isn't inscribed with "NYY" like the one shown on the Yankees' Web site. Surely they could genetically engineer the lettering right into the steers' rib bones, couldn't they? |
