Would Pedro really be so bad right now?

Considering the shit that we're throwing out there and the shit results that
we're getting, do you think it's worth giving Pedro another shot? I mean, if
he pitches as bad as this, then well, whatever, we would have gotten the
same thing from any SP not named Santana (or Figueroa, but he's pissed
and not going to Buffalo).

The only real issue is the fact that he still wants around $5M... but shit, it's
not my money.

if pedro was willing to take an incentive-laden deal he'd be pitching somewhere already. if the mets wanted to add 5 million in base salary (likely plus incentives) to te payroll they could probably trade for an overpriced veteran who would do more good than pedro.

I'm still not terribly pissed in the rotation. They've kept us in most games. The offense just has not been capitalizing on opportunities.
