Several of those appear to be your typical awful Olin Mills church directory disasters.

I believe you could take a collection of Sports Illustrated swimsuit models, turn them over your typical Olin Mills photog and they'd come out looking awful.

And there's no escaping them. Del Shannon of "Runaway" fame used to live in a nearby town, and the local McDonald's is sort of a de facto museum -- I know, I know -- and among the things on the wall is a family portrait that is so obviously an Olin Mills church directory portrait, and of course everyone looked awful.

Even famous musicians, at some point in their lives, get stuck behind the lens of an Olin Mills photog!

Actually, he's rated them so you don't have to.

I shouldn't have to say this, but I give the Pac Man math a big thumbs up.

I just saw this. Racy by 1909's standards just aren't going to cut it. (Though I do enjoy a "piquant Hungarian," which at my house is code for certain intimate acts I will not reveal in mixed company *cough anal cough*.)

Having said that, if you are looking to kill the rest of your day head over to [url=http://failblog.org:lnd4906k]Failblog.[/url:lnd4906k] Classic Internet comedy.

A fun site, but I find myself --- as a non-sax player --- disagreeing on most of his ratings. Who doesn't love the sax break on "Rio"?

Played bari sax briefly (actually, played bassoon, then crossed over for a bit as a fill-in marching-bander-- same fingering), so I can see where some of his crit comes from.

That said... dude still grades like my old 8th-grade English teacher-- "'A's should be for the truly special. Do you really believe your work was truly special?" I'm not sure if anyone ever murdered said teacher, but if they did, I think I know where their defense would start.

I love that old-fashioned overwritten sportswriting.
