Which way to go?

A, more than B. 14 votes

B, more than A. 5 votes

Both are awful. 1 votes

I'd so explode with delight at seeing the Mets go fulltime to homepinstripes, it would be miserly of me to state a preference between dapper white and handsome off-white. 4 votes

Indifference, Edgy, such indifference. 6 votes

A more than B....

I'm not sure why they need to mess with stuff.

Home whites should be white, not sorta white.

Other than that I tend to leave the discussion of minute details of fonts, orange dots, drop-shadows, and the like to others more fashion conscious than me.

B more than A but the drop-shadow has got to go.

I understand the aversion to the creamy goodness of B and had I not been at a game against the Reds some years back where both teams wore throwback unis, I might agree.

The Mets wore the cream-colored home pinstripes and man did they look wonderful. You have to see them in person to fully appreciate them.

The only issue I recall with the uniforms I saw them in that day was that they seemed to be quite fragile. Ventura slid into a base and ripped the entire back of a pant leg clean off. I wondered if that was a result of the uniforms being flannel-like material rather than the poly-propelene banlon blend that they make the regular stuff with.

A over B

I voted for B, but it's only a very slight preference. Either one would be great. And the drop shadow doesn't bother me a bit. I didn't even notice it until years after they added it, when it was pointed out here.

I voted A.

B is fake. Flannel uniforms were the cream color. These aren't flannel.

Be what you are, which is the best home uniforms in all of baseball in the fabric of the day.

Me, too. That's why I voted for indiference.
As I've posted before, I'm more concerned with the ballplayers in the uniforms than the colors on them.

I don't think any position suggests that anybody is less concerned with the ballplayers in the uniform.

B leading so far, 4-3, among those who aren't indifferent.

That was my vote, but I'm surprised. I thought that bright white would be overwhelmingly more popular.

Will you be creating additional polls for the other choices we were offered?

Be my guest. That was just the hardest choice for me. I went old-school as an impulse, but this was a choice between two classes of the old school.

OK. Then let's just say that uniforms aren't that important to me.

I voted A, but I wouold be okay with eiither one as long as the Mets are wearing the pinstripes for the majority of their home games.

My personal preference would be to wear the pinstripes for all Monday through Saturday home games and then the white uniforms for Sunday home games.

That's an idea. OR cream-colored, dropshadow-free-- without pinstripes, mebbe-- as the Sunday alternate. (Have I mentioned that I really like the Phils' alts?)

Where are all these uniform choices coming from?

Met uniform survey MGIM mentioned on Friday. I was able to dig up a link. (Check out the "Mets survey fans..." thread to let your e-voice be heard.)

Re: Which way to go?

I tried to use the new "Bump" feature, but I couldn't find it.

I'm pretty sure I saw a reference to it somewhere, but maybe I was mistaken.

Anyway... BUMP!
