Perspective or Delusion?

I wasn't so bad after last night's loss. They blew it and, yeah, Jerry's decisions had a menaningful part in it. But I considered it a worthy consolation prize that they woke up and realized they had a firstbaseman on the roster who was hurting them in the outfield.

Deluded, right?

He looked good.

But you know me...forever the optimist.

Delusional perspective.

I really wish I shared your optimism about Murphy , but I don't , at least not for now anyway.

Just, please, no more Jeremy Reed at first. I saw him gaak on that throw about four times in my sleep the last couple of nights.

If Murph were only hitting... well, we might not be having this conversation at all.

Thought that too, but left it out intentionally.

He's been drinking Shaefer from a shot glass.

I agree with this statement. But there are an awful lot of holes in this lineup.

Seeing the Phillies go ca ca coo coo today in Cincy isn't helping me any. Their 1-4 hitters went 10-20 with 3 HRs and 9 RBIs. Today.

Murphy will get his swing back if left alone to play some first without having to worry about playing volleyball in the outfield. So say I.

Definitely a little self-deluded. But that's the definition of "hope," no?
